Brad Wiese is the President and CEO of Visionary Funding Group, LLC. Prior to the formation of Visionary Funding Group, Brad owned and operated Wiese Funding, a private debt and equity placement firm located outside of St. Louis, MO in Saint Albans, MO. Brad was born and raised across the river from St. Louis in Waterloo, IL. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Southeast Missouri State University, Brad spent the next two decades in the Southeast US advancing up the banking corporate ladder.
Brad attained his first City President level position in Meridian, MS at AmSouth Bank, now Regions Bank through merger, at the age of 28. From there he became a Market President for FirstBank and successfully advancing the bank into the Memphis, TN market. Following his work for Regions in that market, Brad advanced to the role of Chief Deposit Officer for Capstar Bank in Nashville, TN. In this role he was involved in many of the capital attainment, preservation, growth and enhancement projects of the Bank, including small business banking.
Following his time at E-Funding/Ervin Equipment as Chief Financial Strategist and partner, Brad founded and built Wiese Funding developing lasting relationships in niche markets and growing his debt and equity placement franchise.
Joshua Corson, Founding Partner at Visionary Funding, has 15 years of experience in operations and has been instrumental in both developing real estate and and growing mid size businesses. After finalizing an $80 million mixed use real estate development in Clayton, MO., Mr. Corson started Visionary Capital. At Visionary Capital, Mr. Corson has participated in acquiring and overseeing the operations of 4 operating companies along with 6 financial investment companies. The operating companies have a combined yearly revenue in excess of $20 million. In addition, Mr. Corson has participated in the development and brokerage of over $150 million of real estate.
Mr. Corson is a member of the Missouri Bar with a JD from Washington University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Babson College. Mr. Corson is an officer on the Clayton, Missouri Chamber of Commerce and on the Clayton, Missouri Architecture Review Board. In addition, Mr. Corson is the Chair of the Building Committee for Covenant Place, a low-income senior housing facility which is in the process of an $80 million development.
Cory Spielberg, Founding Partner at Visionary Funding, is a real estate and private equity professional with over 17 years of investment experience. Mr. Spielberg has assisted in small to middle market mergers and acquisitions of over $35 million. Mr. Spielberg assists in the on-going management of these businesses and works directly with the CEO of each company.
Mr. Spielberg was previously an Account Vice President and Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley and UBS Financial Services where he helped manage portfolio’s in excess of 140 million dollars for high net worth individuals. Mr. Spielberg is active in promoting the causes of several non-profit organizations in the area, serving on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers, Big Sisters since 2007 and he is the founder of the Alan Green Fund which donates money to several St Louis area charities. Mr. Spielberg is a native of St. Louis and a graduate of St. Louis University.
